IDA Delhi State Branch and Women Dental Council in association with an NGO ATTAC (Aim To Terminate Tobacco and Cancer) organised Dental Awareness, Oral , Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness followed by screening on 5th May,2018 at Central Industrial Security Forces, Mahipalpur. A total of 350 female police battalion attended the programme. The session began with health talk on Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness by Dr. Suversha Khanna, Founder, of Dharamshila Narayana Cancer Hospital followed by an awareness session by Dr. Vineeta Chugh, Secretary , Women Dental Council on Women Oral Health, Oral Care during Pregnancy and Oral cancer awareness. Following this we planned a questionnaire based on the keypoints discussed during session which were distributed to all the officers. Best performing officers were awarded gifts from Indian Dental Association. All the police officers were screened for oral health check up. During the screening procedure we selected officers with Best Oral hygiene and Best Esthetic Dental Smile. Winning officers were given certificate of appreciation. The team of Doctors participated in the camp were Dr.Rajeev Gupta, President Delhi State Branch, Dr.Jyoti Chourasia, CDH IDA North Delhi, Dr.Akshat Prasad, Hon.Secretary,IDA Central Delhi,Dr.Charoo Tangri, Chairperson WDC South Delhi Branch, Dr.Ritu Sabharwal, Vice Chairperson WDC South Delhi Branch, Dr. Pallavi Hasija, Executive IDA North Delhi, Dr.Pradeep Sharma. The message for cancer and oral hygiene awareness was well conveyed to the officers. Working staffs and officers appreciated the efforts of team of doctors. They also expressed that they would like to oraganise such camps in future also.
